South Willamette Valley Honor Flight veterans arrived at Portland International Airport Friday morning to begin their journey to Washington, D.C.

Before boarding their flight, the veterans and their guardians were serenaded with the National Anthem.

Brandon Kamerman and photojournalist Loren Ruark are traveling with the Honor Flight, sharing the veterans' stories and special moments.
