Oregon Memorial Traveling Wall on display this weekend at Oregon Coast Military Museum

FLORENCE, Ore. - The Umpqua Valley Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America set up its Oregon Memorial Traveling Wall inside Florence’s Oregon Coast Military Museum on Friday for Pearl Harbor Day observances.

The Wall will be available for viewing noon to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the museum, located at 2145 Kingwood Street in Florence.

Admission is free.

The center panels list the names of Oregonians lost in Vietnam, as well as Duane Hodges of Creswell, the lone casualty in North Korea's seizure of the USS Pueblo more than 50 years ago.

Side panels list the names of Oregonians who died in Panama, the bombing in Beirut, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.
