Brandon is KVAL’s evening news anchor after previously working as the station’s sports director. Highlights as sports director include covering the Olympic Trials, Oregon’s run to the Women’s Final Four in 2019, the Ducks’ win in the 2020 Rose Bowl and at Ohio State in 2021, OSU gymnastics and every High School Gameday.
Prior to working at KVAL, Brandon was the assistant sports director at WVUA 23 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. where he covered a whole lot of Alabama Crimson Tide. While working at WVUA, Brandon covered three CFP national championships, the Women’s College World Series, the NCAA basketball tournament, a WBC heavyweight boxing title fight and co-hosted the Alabama football championship parade.
Brandon’s career in local news began in Medford, Ore. as a weekend sports anchor/reporter. That is when he fell in love with the state of Oregon and always knew he would return at some point. A favorite memory is following the Southern Oregon Raiders to the 2014 NAIA football championship in Daytona Beach.
He is married with three beautiful children and enjoys playing fantasy sports, hiking, camping, theater and spending time with family and friends.
Brandon is grateful to continue in a long line of great anchors at "The Station on the Hill."
