Billy Spotz

Billy Spotz joined the KVAL team as an MMJ in July of 2022.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Billy found a love of journalism from an early age, eagerly watching his local TV stations every night, and doing what he could to stay informed about local events.

In 2018 he started at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication, where his love of storytelling was shaped by his professors.

After graduating in 2022, and after falling in love with Oregon and specifically Lane County, Billy decided to stick around.
