CORVALLIS, Ore. - Just hours after Thursday's terrorist attack in Barcelona on a street outside the hotel where the Beaver basketball team is staying, KVAL Sports spoke with Oregon State Athletic Director Scott Barnes.

Barnes addressed the safety of Oregon State's basketball team over in Spain, the decision on whether or not to discontinue the trip, and more.

Coach Wayne Tinkle made a statement from Barcelona, saying the attack happened outside the team's hotel.

"I don't think people understand the gravity of what occurred here," he said. "All of our party and players are accounted for. Everything’s good with our guys, it’s obviously a tough thing to deal with moving forward."
