South Medford defeats South Eugene 74-56

EUGENE, Ore. - Southwest conference leaders South Medford traveled north to take on South Eugene Friday night. The Axemen were coming off their first conference loss.

In the first quarter, Josh Bower passed to Ryan Fredericks who drove for a layup. The Axemen had the first strike.

Later, there was a loose ball which landed in the hands of Eskari Carter. Carter drove for a layup making the score 9-7 Panthers. Even later in the first, South Medford gets the ball low to Hunter Bradford who shoots and scores, extending the lead.

South Medford continued to gain the lead over the Axemen and in the end, they couldn't make a comeback.

The Panthers beat South Eugene 74-56 to stay undefeated in the Southwest Conference.
