Thurston and Marist Baseball advance to second round
Two-seed Thurston held off 15-seed Hood River Valley in the first round of the OSAA 5A Baseball playoffs.
Adam Elliot recorded a two run RBI in the bottom of the fourth to beat the Eagles 4-3 Tuesday afternoon. The Colts will face Lebanon in the Quarterfinals on May 26th.

In 4A, three seed Marist Catholic Baseball extended their postseason run beating 14 seed Astoria 3-1.
Kaden Starr played a big role on the mound for the Spartans, escaping a jam in the fourth inning with the bases loaded. Marist will face Pendleton in the quarterfinals on May 26th at 4 p.m.
