OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Game 1 of the College World Series finals between Arkansas and Oregon State will be delayed because of potential rain in the Omaha area Monday night.

The NCAA announced officials would decide a half-hour to 45 minutes after the scheduled 7:05 p.m. EDT first pitch whether the game would be played.

Rain fell most of the day, but skies were sunny over TD Ameritrade Park late in the afternoon. The weather forecast called for a 20 percent chance of rain at night, but officials were tracking a storm in southeast Nebraska that was moving toward Omaha.
