Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Two slices of Texas Toast or other thick cut bread


Tillamook Cheddar Cheese

Thin sliced ham

Thin sliced turkey

Sliced Tomato

Fresh Tomato Soup

2 C fresh Tomatoes, peeled and diced

1/4 C chopped Onion

2 tsp chopped Garlic

1 Tbls chopped Shallots

1 Tbls Tomato Paste

1/2 C Cream

Mix with Immersion Blender


Butter each slice of Texas Toast bread on one side and place buttered side down on the hot griddle. Place two slices of cheese on each slice of bread. Warm tomato slices and meat on griddle. When cheese is starting to melt, top bread with warm sliced tomato, ham and turkey. Grill sandwich 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Sauté onion, garlic and shallots in medium sized pan with 1 Tbls of Olive Oil. Add fresh tomatoes. Heat to boiling and cook for five minutes. Add 1 Tbls tomato paste and cream. Mix with burr mixer or immersion blender. Heat to low boil.
