Casino Kitchen: Double Elk Burger
2 Elk Burger Patties
Large Burger Buns
4 slices of pre-cooked Bacon
Orange Reduction Glaze:
1 C Orange Juice
1 Tbls. Brown Sugar
Grill Elk Burger Patties on griddle over medium high heat for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side. Butter burger buns and set on grill until lightly browned.
Orange Reduction Glaze for Bacon:
Put orange juice and brown sugar in medium sized frying pan and heat over medium high heat. Reduce to a bubbling glaze. Place bacon in pan to coat before putting on burger.
Assemble Burger: Bottom of bun, top with leaf lettuce, fresh tomato, elk burger patty, glazed bacon, a drizzle of orange reduction glaze and another elk burger patty and top of bun.
Move to Plate.
Serve warm with potato chips, fried green beans or sweet potato fries on the side.
