Bill would ban alcohol from Oregon beaches

SALEM, Ore. - A bill introduced in the Oregon House of Representatives would ban consumption of alcohol on the state's public beaches.

The bill, HB 3441, would ban alcohol containers or consumption of alcohol on beaches.

If you break the law, you would be subject to a maximum of 30 days in jail, a $1,250 fine, or both.
