From concept to design to the production phase, Bike Friday has been on a fast track with the packiT thanks to a Kickstarter campaign. (SBG)

"So we're able to build pakiTs that are under 15 pounds for a single speed, and most folding bikes out on the market are at least 23 to 25 pounds," said Hanna Scholz, owner of Eugene-based Bike Friday. (SBG)
