UCC plans public forums on 5-year strategic plan
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Umpqua Community College wants public input on the school's strategic plan for the next five years.
UCC scheduled four face-to-face community forums.
On Monday, July 9, morning and afternoon forums will take place in Myrtle Creek and Roseburg:
- The 10 a.m. session will be held at South Umpqua High School Library, 501 Chadwick Lane, Myrtle Creek, 97457.
- The 4 p.m. session will be held at the Ford Family Foundation Conference Room, 1600 NW Stewart Parkway, Roseburg, 97471.
On Tuesday, July 10, morning and afternoon forums will take place in Winston and Sutherlin:
- The 10 a.m. session will be held at the Winston Community Center, 440 SE Grape Avenue, Winston, 97496.
- The 4 p.m. session will be held at the Sutherlin Community Center, 150 Willamette Street, Sutherlin, 97479.
“These forums provide a way for community members to directly communicate with UCC’s leadership about the College’s strengths and areas for improvement,” siad UCC President Dr. Debra Thatcher. “Regardless of where people live in the county or whether people responded to the online survey, everyone is welcome to attend one of the forums.”
