KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Highway 97 is closed at the Oregon-California border due to a wildfire burning just south of the border, Oregon DOT said Tuesday afternoon.

The closure came on top of the closure of Highway 20 near Santiam Pass due to a wildfire. Nearby McKenzie Pass Historic Highway 242 has been closed since earlier this month due to a wildfire.

And a portion of Highway 138E in Douglas County remains closed due to wildfires burning there.
