Gregory Wayne Ferguson, 56, is on post-prison supervision after serving time for Rape and Attempted Murder.
Ferguson tampered with his GPS tracking unit around 2 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
"His last location was on a bike trail in Roseburg, east of Gaddis Park," community corrections said. "Ferguson’s mother lives in Eagle Point, so he may be heading to Jackson County via Greyhound bus or hitchhiking."
Ferguson is 5-foot-11, 230 pounds with hazel eyes.
