COOS BAY, Ore. — The annual Cruz the Coos roared through downtown Coos Bay Saturday evening.
More than 500 classic cars rode past residents who lined sidewalks along Commercial Avenue and other nearby streets.
The event, presented by the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club, followed the Show ‘n Shine held at the Mill Casino where the vintage rides were showcased by owners who shared about the restoration of their vehicles.
Cruz the Coos is one of the longest-running and largest classic car cruises on the Oregon Coast.
Proceeds from the event benefit Rotary scholarships, humanitarian efforts and donations to non-profit organizations in the community.
It took place as part of the 44th annual Bay Area Fun Festival.
