'They had a dust devil come through here and it started blowing the building apart'

The owner of the hanger said a nearly 20-foot section of the roof had been peeled back.

CRESWELL, Ore. - Firefighters responding to a report of a possible explosion at Hobby Field arrived to find no sign of an explosion.

But they did find the roof torn off an airplane hangar.

The owner of the hanger said a nearly 20-foot section of the roof had been peeled back.

It left the roof exposed and dented.

As for what caused that to happen, the owner says it was wind.

"The airport manager told me the roof was blown off my hangar," pilot Bill Kelly said. "They had a dust devil come through here and it started blowing the building apart."
