Teen arrested in connection with Coburg brush fire

COBURG, Ore. - Police arrested a 15-year-old boy after firefighters responded to a suspicious brush fire south of Coburg on Monday afternoon.

Chad Minter, chief of the Coburg Fire District, said crews kept the fire to about an acre.

The fire was out in a field south of Eugene Kamping world and proved difficult for firefighters to access, Minter said.

Coburg Police later took the teen into custody. He was taken to the youth detention facility in Eugene.
