Tanker truck crash closes I-5 south off-ramp to I-84 EB

PORTLAND, Ore. – A tanker truck slid into an SUV while driving on the I-5 southbound ramp to I-84 eastbound on Saturday morning, trapping a driver inside the vehicle.

No word from officials on whether anyone was injured in the collision, however, officials said the driver of the SUV walked away from the scene.

The crash has the interchange ramp closed for much of the morning, prompting extensive delays in the area.

At this point, officials have not given an estimate on when the tanker truck and SUV will be cleared from the roadway.
