NEAR COBURG, Ore. — The man killed in a shooting in Coburg on Monday has been identified as Derrick Adam McKee, 49, of Harrisburg.

The shooting occurred Monday, Aug. 19, in the 33000 block of Coleman Road north of Coburg.

Lane County Sheriff deputies, Oregon State Police, as well as Coburg police and Linn County Sheriff deputies all responded to the reported shooting. When they arrived, a man was found dead from a gunshot wound, officials said.

Detectives began investigating and the next day, Aug. 20, a man was taken into custody in connection to the fatal shooting.

Sean Joseph Lynn, 30, was booked into the Lane County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.

No further details about the shooting have been released.
