Police: Two people murdered in Lebanon; suspect arrested near Mexico Border

    LEBANON, Ore. - The Linn County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation of a double-homicide in Lebanon on Saturday.

    Deputies and officers from the LCSO and Lebanon Police Department were called to a residence on Shannon Place just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, where they found two people had been killed.

    The deceased have been identified as Tammy Lee Hopper, 42, and Eric Cody Jacobs, 48, from Independence. Hopper resided at the residence.

    A suspect, identified as Brenton Wade Richmond, 48, was arrested on Sunday in Southern California, near the Mexico Border. Richmond faces charges for two counts of Aggravated Murder.
