Police arrest third suspect connected to Eugene home invasion robbery

EUGENE, Ore. -- Police in Eugene have arrested the third suspect in connection with a home invasion robbery off Northill Ranch Rd. in Eugene.

On Thursday, July 19, 18-year-old Daniel Hoeve-Chavez of Springfield was located by the Eugene Police Department and arrested on multiple charges in connection with the June 13, 2018 robbery.

Hoeve-Chavez was the third and final suspect to be taken into custody in this case, and is being held at the Lane County Jail on the following:

  • Robbery in the First Degree x 2
  • Robbery in the Second Degree x 6
  • Assault in the Second Degree x 2
  • Burglary in the First Degree
  • False Information to a Peace Officer

The other two suspects, 18-year-old Daniel Cole Carter and 21-year-old Dylan Haines, remain in custody at the Lane County Jail.

According to police, the suspects entered an RV on the property and assaulted two men, demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed amount of marijuana.
