Photos released of suspect who reported robbed Chase Bank in Eugene
EUGENE, Ore. - Surveillance footage of the suspect who reportedly robbed the Chase Bank on West 11th have been released by the Eugene Police Department.
The Chase Bank inside Fred Meyer on West 11th Avenue was robbed on Friday night at approximately 6:08 p.m.
A man entered the bank and robbed it using a note, while implying that he had a weapon.
He fled with cash and was last seen on a bicycle leaving the area. Patrol officers and Springfield Police K9 responded to the search, but the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as a while male, age 25-30, standing somewhere between 5'10" and 6'2" while weighing approximately 200-280 pounds. He had a thick brown goatee and short beard on both sides of his face. The suspect was wearing sunglasses, a black baseball hat with a white LA logo on the front, over-the-ear headphones, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a grey zip-up jacket with breast pockets, brown Carhart-type pants and black footwear.
This does not appear to be related to the off-campus robberies, and occurred in a different part of the City of Eugene.
