Oregon State University plans vaccination clinic for meningococcal disease

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University announced Tuesday they will hold a vaccination clinic for the B strain of meningococcal disease. The university said three cases have been reported over the past four months.

OSU said the vaccination clinic is for students at highest risk. It will take place Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9 in McAlexander Field house on Jefferson Avenue and Benton Way from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The vaccine could be administered to thousands of students, the university said.
