The first meteor shower of 2018 will peak Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

While the peak of other more famous meteor showers can last for 24 hours or longer, the Quadrantid Meteor Shower will only display for a few hours.

Astronomers say the most meteors will be visible in the final hour before dawn.

Unfortunately, they say the moon will be very bright at the time of the meteor shower, making them more difficult to see.
