'If you want to save, do it now': Lane County Fair advance tickets on sale through Tuesday
EUGENE, Ore.- The Lane County Fair starts Wednesday - but if you want to save some money, there are some early-bird deals to take advantage of.
Lane County Bi-Mart stores are selling Season Pass tickets for $20. A Season Pass buys admission for all five days of the fair, Wednesday through Sunday. Fair-goers can buy Season Passes until the end of the day on Tuesday, July 16th.
Fair-goers can also buy a ride bracelet online, or at the Eugene and Oakridge First Tech Federal Credit Union. The Ride Bracelet lets one person go on unlimited carnival rides for one day, and costs $37.50. 3 games are included with the pre-sale bracelet, as well as 1 free corndog, medium soda or popcorn. Fair admission is not included.
Tuesday is the last day to buy a ride bracelet at a discounted price- ride bracelets are available at the fair for $50. Individual ride tickets can also be purchased at the fair, or online.
"All of those pre-deals really go away after tomorrow night. So, just want to encourage everybody- if you want to save, go online, do it now. You can also buy our fair admission online. It's not discounted, but it saves you from waiting online," Assistant Fair Manager Rachel Bivens says.
General admission ticket prices are:
$9: Adult (13 to 64)
$7: Seniors (65+)
$6: Youth (6 to 12)
FREE: Children (5 and Under)
Bivens says if you live within a three block radius of the Lane Events Center, you're in luck. Residents are entitled to two free Fair tickets per household. Bivens says to visit their office at the Lane Events Center to pick them up.
Concert tickets can be purchased in advance, and include fair admission. Reserved seating tickets are also available online.
