Watch: Helicopter crew rescues snowmobile rider caught in deadly avalanche

CLE ELUM, Wash. -- King County Air Support has released a video of a rescue Saturday after four snowmobile riders were caught in a deadly avalanche.

Kyle Ottwell, 26, of Bonney Lake, was flown to Harborview Medical Center.

The avalanche killed Bonney Lake Police Officer James. Larsen, 41, and Bonney Lake resident Zach Roundtree, 27.

Bonney Lake police are expected to bring their bodies home this week.

A fourth snowmobile rider, Ryan Journey, 27, of Bonney Lake, managed to free himself from the snow and suffered only minor injuries.

The avalanche occurred about 20 miles northeast of Cle Elum and near Esmeralda Peak above 4,600 feet.
