Firefighter facing assault charge after fight with another firefighter
MERLIN, Ore. —
A firefighter from Idaho is facing 4th degree assault charges after a fight broke out at a fire camp for the Taylor Creek Fire.
Clayton Broncheau was arrested and booked into the Josephine County Jail on Wednesday after he injured another firefighter who had to be transported to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.
There is no information on the extent of his injuries.
Broncheau has since been bailed out of jail.
Fire administration for the Taylor Creek Fire say Broncheau and the group of firefighters he arrived with have since been sent home.
