Eugene Emeralds to host several family friendly events during opening weekend

EUGENE, Ore. - The Eugene Emeralds will host their fourth annual "Em's Fest" on Wednesday, June 13th at PK Park in Eugene.

The event will take place for 5-7:30 p.m., and will be free of charge and open to the public, aimed at getting the entire community excited for another Emerald's season at PK Park.

At the event, fans will be able to play catch on the field, get player autographs, participate in a player Q&A and much more. A bunch of new food coming to the park will also be available to try for all of the foodies in the house.

The Em's play their first game of the season is on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. vs. Vancouver. The Emeralds will play again at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday night.

On Sunday, the Emeralds are partnering with NBC 16 and Kendall Toyota to put of a Father's Day Extravaganza to celebrate the dad's on this special day. At the event, you can have a picnic barbeque at the game, play catch on the field and meet and greet players.
