Fire destroys three cars at wedding in Cottage Grove

COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. —A small fire broke out at a wedding near Cottage Grove on the east side of Interstate 5 near Tree Cottage Nurseries.

Billowing smoke appears to be coming from a car parked in dry grass near the side of the road.

Three vehicles were destroyed, and two others suffered extensive damages.

The South Lane Fire Department was able to keep the burn to less than an acre.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but police are investigating the situation.
