Police find Dallas, Ore. woman deceased a day after she went missing

Leisa Ann Blackburn Stewart was reported missing on April 3, 2018. She left in a silver 2003 Mercury Marquis. If you see her, call police.

DALLAS, Ore. – Dallas police officers say they found a woman dead on Wednesday, nearly a day after she was reported missing.

Leisa Ann Blackburn Stewart, 53, was reported missing Tuesday around 6:30 a.m.

Investigators say she was found deceased the following morning in Tillamook County.

Officials haven't specified a cause of death, however, they do not suspect criminal acts in her death.


Investigators say Leisa left her mother’s house in Dallas in a silver 2003 Mercury Marquis with Oregon license plate number YJL339. They say she left her car, purse, wallet, phone and medications at the home.

She did not leave a message or note or any indication of her destination.

Police said they cannot elaborate on her medical condition.
