Crash on Highway 213 near Molalla injures two

A vehicle crossed the center line on Highway 213 Tuesday night and crashed head-on with another one, injuring two people, Oregon State Police State.

The crash happened a few minutes before 6:30 p.m. near S. Mt. Hope Road.

OSP said a 26-year-old Molalla woman driving a Toyota Tacoma was going south when she crossed the center line, hitting a northbound Ford C-Max, driven by a 54-year-old Gresham man.

OSP said the two people were flown by medical helicopter to OHSU. They are expected to survive.

Police said they believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.

The highway was closed for about 3.5 hours.
