EUGENE, Ore. - An amusement center featuring bowling, arcade games, billiards, karaoke and other activities will open in the former Gottschalks space at Valley River Center next winter, the shopping center's management announced Tuesday.
“Round 1 and all its entertainment elements will provide endless hours of fun and appeal to all members of the Eugene community," said Rob McOmie, Senior Property Manager at Valley River Center.
Round 1 has several existing locations and new locations opening soon, according to its website.
The Eugene location will be the first Round 1 in Oregon. There is a Round 1 at Westfield Southcenter in Tukwila, Washington, the only other Northwest location.
Valley River Center also announced that retailer Forever 21 is expanding and relocating to the mall's new entrance and plaza. The new entrance and plaza are expected to open this spring.
"These additions showcase the vibrancy of our shopping experience and the future of things to come at Valley River Center," McOmie said.
