JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - The 58th annual Scandinavian Festival celebrates the heritage of Junction City.

The event has become a community tradition.

And vendors cooked up traditional foods like meat pies and abelskievers.

Organizers expect more than 60,000 visitors over the course of the long weekend.

"What I love about it is the people," said Mathew Nelson. "The event itself is, it's in the blood, it's in the soul and it's in the spirit of those who help to put it on."
