Music of Michael Jackson, Grateful Dead takes center stage in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. - Tickets to performances featuring American music legends go on sale this month.

Two former members of the Grateful Dead plan a three-night stand at the Cuthbert Amphitheater in September - and the King of Pop lives on in Cirque du Soleil announced today that Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour in November at the Matthew Knight Arena.

Advance tickets to Furthur featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir for shows Friday, Sept. 23; Saturday, Sept. 24; and Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, will go on sale on Friday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at all TicketsWest outlets, online at TicketsWest, and the Hult Center Box Office for $55 general admission.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. The concert will start at 7 p.m. all three nights.

Cirque du Soleil's tribute to the late Michael Jackson is Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. Starting Monday, June 13, at noon, tickets will be available to the general public at and or by calling 1-800-WEBFOOT. Tickets range from $50 to $250 each.
