Dog Tale Time - Kids build reading skills with trained dogs

On Saturday, February 5, kids in grades one through six are invited to Dog Tale Times at all locations of Eugene Public Library.

Dog Tale Time helps young readers build skills and confidence by reading aloud to trained dogs. The dogs and their handlers come courtesy of PAAWS (People and Animals Who Serve), a local chapter of the Delta Society.

At the Bethel and Sheldon branches, catch Dog Tale Time between 10:30 and noon. Pre-register for short sessions reading with dogs by calling Bethel Branch at 541-682-5766 or Sheldon Branch at 541-682-5778.

Or drop in for sessions at the Downtown Library on Saturday, February 5, between 2:00 and 3:30 p.m.

Dog Tale Time will continue on future Saturdays at the Downtown Library only; pre-register at 541-682-8316 starting one week in advance.
