Roseburg National Cemetery to honor Vietnam veterans at March ceremony

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg National Cemetery is setting the stage to honor Vietnam veterans at a ceremony coming up in March.

The Vietnam War Anniversary commemoration ceremony will be to thank and honor Veterans of the Vietnam War.

All Vietnam veterans are welcome and will be honored.

The event takes place on March 29 and begins at 1 p.m. at the cemetery flagpole/rostrum.

The Department of Veterans Affairs - Roseburg National Cemetery will honor the service, sacrifice, and enduring achievements of the Armed Forces at this anniversary event.

It will commemorate Vietnam War veterans and Vietnam veterans in attendance will receive a special Vietnam pin, button, and bumper sticker.

The items will be presented to each veteran "to reflect the nation’s thanks for their service and sacrifice," organizers said.

A Wreath will be laid in commemoration of all living and deceased Vietnam veterans.
