EUGENE, Ore. - The veterans on the South Willamette Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., allowed anchor David Walker and photojournalist Loren Ruark to accompany them to the monuments erected in honor of the wars they fought.

From World War II to Korea to Vietnam, Ruark captured many poignant moments on camera.
