Duck club baseball team undefeated, ranked 7th in nation

EUGENE, Ore. - The undefeated Oregon Club Baseball team went up 3-0 with a home run over Western Washington on Saturday in the first inning of a double header.

Then the rain started - and didn't stop.

The mercy rule was invoked during the first two games against Central Oregon, with the Ducks winning game one 10-0 in five innings and 16-6 in seven innings in the second game. The third game was called due to rain in the eighth inning with the score Oregon 6, Central Oregon 1.
