Washington County deputies searching for stolen Portland Timbers championship ring
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a Portland Timbers championship ring that was stolen from a home in Bethany sometime within the past two months.
Deputies say a man contacted them Friday saying his Portland Timbers 2015 championship ring had been stolen from his home in Bethany. He believes it was stolen between mid-December and mid-January.
Investigators say the owner, Maurice Amar, was employed by the Portland Timbers soccer club prior to 2018.
The ring is silver and as the words “MLS 2015 Champions” and the Timbers logo on the front.
One side has the name “Amar” on it and the other side reads “Portland Timbers.”
Deputies say the ring is valued at $2,000.
The sheriff’s office is hoping to return the ring to Amar. Anyone with information should contact non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111.
