Man killed in wreck on gravel road
NARROWS, Ore. - A 25-year-old man died when he lost control of his SUV on a remote gravel road and crashed.
Police identified the driver as David Guzman-Ramirez of Bend.
A Bureau of Land Management employee discovered the wreckage Monday morning on Sodhouse Lane, about 12 miles east of Narrows, Oregon, and south of Malheur Lake.
Oregon State Police believe the crash happened late Sunday or early Monday.
Investigators said it appears Guzman-Ramirez lost control of his 1997 Ford Explorer in a right turn in the gravel road.
The SUV overturned, throwing him from the vehicle. He was not using a seatbelt, state police said.
