$500 reward in deer poaching case

BEND, Ore. - The Oregon Hunters Associations has offered a $500 reward in the case of four deer found killed and left to rot in Central Oregon.

Three of the deer had been decapitated.

The poached wildlife were found November 17 by two people filming winter range deer in the Kotzman Basin south of Highway 20 and east of Paulina Lake, Oregon State Police said.

Investigators believe the deer were shot during daylight hours in the late afternoon of Friday, November 16.
