Meth crystals found in high school science building

Grants Pass Police were called about small crystals found in the Grants Pass High School Science Building on Monday morning.

A student found what the school describes as a small vial that had some unidentified crystals inside it.

GPHS asked police to test it, and it tested positive for meth.

According to the police report filed by officers, the narcotics were found in a small decorated jar.

No arrests have been made as the vial was found on its own, not in anybody's possession.

Police are still investigating the incident.
