YACHATS, Ore. - A man who broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and stabbed her with a knife now faces charges of attempted murder and domestic assault, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said.
According to deputies, 36-year-old Anthony Buccella broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and stabbed her before fleeing.
The victim was treated on scene by medical personnel for a non-life threatening injury, the sheriff's office said.
State police and USDA Forest Service law enforcement assisted in the search for Buccella. Deputies located him and took him into custody about 2 hours after the stabbing, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies booked Buccella into the Lincoln County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder, Burglary I, Domestic Assault II, Domestic Menacing and Criminal Mischief I. Buccella's bail was set at $315,000.
