Woman reports 4 men asked her to 'party,' tried to force her into car

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - A woman told police 4 men in a Cadillac asked her to "party" with them as she walked down the street - and when she refused, they got out of the car and grabbed her.

The 20-year-old said she was able to break away and flee from the men, police said.

Officers checked the area and couldn't find a vehicle matching the one she described.

The attempted kidnapping happened Saturday night around 9 p.m. as the woman walked home along G Street in Springfield.

She said the men in a newer 4-door Cadillac slowed down around 12 Street and asked her if she wanted to "party" with them. She said no.

Five blocks later, the car stopped and the men got out, the woman told police. The men tried to force her into the car, but she broke free, ran home and called police.

The woman described the men as:

A white male in his 20s, 6-feet tall, medium build with blonde hair. "Barbell" style lip and eyebrow piercing. Eyebrow piecing has dice on the ends.

A black male in his 20s, 6-foot-3, with a slim build and short hair

A black male in his 20s, 6-foot-3 with a slim muscular build and shoulder length corn row style hair

A black male in his early 20s, 5-foot-9, 200 pounds with stocky build

She described the car as a newer dark blue 4-door Cadillac, newer model with blue or florescent interior lighting.
