Woman missing since Thanksgiving found deceased in O'Brien

O’BRIEN, Ore. – The body of a woman last seen around Thanksgiving was found Thursday in O’Brien, according to Oregon State Police.

Kayla Lee Yarbrough’s body was found in the 100 block of Lone Mountain Road. The Josephine County Major Response Team and Oregon State Police are investigating the cause of her death.

The 20-year-old woman was previously reported missing in February of 2017. Oregon State Police and the Medford Police Department were investigating her whereabouts.

Police say Yarbrough’s family in Cave Junction hadn’t seen her since Thanksgiving. They said it was out of character for her to not stay in touch with family or friends.
