EUGENE, Ore.- The University of Oregon will continue their athletic apparel partnership with Nike.

This means Ducks athletics gear will continue to sport the Nike logo, and the University will continue making money on the deal.

The new 11-year agreement will last through May 31, 2028.

The University of Oregon will receive $2 million to $2 1/2 million each year from Nike, and $5 million to $6 million a year in Nike-branded athletic apparel for Oregon's teams.

The University of Oregon Board voted "yes" on the deal at their board meeting on Friday, confirming the partnership.

"It has greatly enhanced economics for the University," Board member Ross Kari said.

The new agreement comes with a $3 million signing bonus.

It also includes two guaranteed summer internships at Nike for Oregon students. The older contract included just one internship.
