Traffic alert: 3,000 UO students moving in to campus housing Thursday

EUGENE, Ore. - Students will move in to University of Oregon campus residence halls on Thursday ahead of the start of fall term next week.

For Eugene residents, that means you can expect heavy traffic around campus: University Housing expects 4,300 students to arrive this week, with 3,000 attempting to move in on Thursday, September 21.

In an effort to streamline the process, students receive a 30-minute unloading zone parking pass.

Volunteers will be on hand to help "Unpack the Quack" and welcome students to campus.
