SWAT team takes suspects in firearms case into custody
EUGENE, Ore. - A SWAT team took two people into custody Thursday after police say they tried to illegally sell firearms to a sporting goods store in Springfield earlier this week.
The tactical unit took Jason Louis Yeoman, 34, and Jessica Mae Lindsten into custody just after 3 p.m.
Police say the two attempted to sell 5 firearms to Cabela's on Monday.
Lindsten is charged with alerting a firearm.
Yeoman was arrested on five counts of being a felon in possession of a weapon, as well as unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and altering identification of a firearm.
