Suspect arrested in Myrtle Creek bank robbery


Myrtle Creek police arrested Jeffrey Michael McDonals at 5:30 p.m. the evening after the robbery after receiving tips.

MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - A man robbed a US Bank branch in Myrtle Creek on Tuesday afternoon.

Police and the sheriff's office released surveillance photos of the suspect less than 2 hours after the robbery.

The man walked into the bank around 3 p.m. and demanded money. He fled the scene before officers arrived and could not be located.

The subject is described as a while male adult in his 50-60s, gray hair, glasses, approximately 5-foot-10 tall, wearing a blue baseball cap, black shirt and a heavy blue plaid jacket with a black hood.
